What makes working for us different from other IT companies is that we consider the Tester to be the "Creme de la Creme", the person who at some point knows the most about the system and the field (both!).
We have the advantage of participating in a very diverse range of projects, both technically and in terms of content - so far we have helped to improve the systems for public sector that affect all our lives, as well as software for a wide variety of financial institutions, retailers and businesses from other sectors. This gives you the opportunity to gain experience with a wide variety of clients and development teams, but when you come into the office you will find a like-minded bunch of people who understand the specifics of a tester's job.
We have a variety of roles for testing and developing your skills. The main role is still the Tester, for whom the manual testing and reporting bugs is neither annoying nor boring. Technical Testers and Test Automation Engineers enjoy solving technical problems - both in automating tests and developing security or performance tests. Every tester has the opportunity, to support both development team and business testers with their advice and strength, and to be in the role of Test Manager.
ASA is a small, thrifty bunch of testers who are dedicated, independent and fun to be with. There is also room for social events and humour. We value flexibility, and in addition to convenient offices in Tallinn and Tartu, everyone has an opportunity to work from home. Thanks to important, interesting, and varied projects, you will have the best development opportunities in the field of software quality assurance. Of course, we also have a great benefits package, including profit-sharing, health insurance or sports allowance, home office furnishing allowance and much more. You can find out more about what we do and the culture within the company by keeping an eye on our Facebook page.

What I like most about working at ASA is the people, they are so lovely, attentive and caring, like family. With ASA team, you could easily go on a spy mission to the other side of the world.
Apart from the people, I like the fact that we have a variety of clients and projects from different fields, I have learned a lot of fascinating things about completely different fields while working at ASA, it has definitely broadened my horizons a lot :)
ASA is like a second home where you feel welcome and comfortable.
The working environment at ASA is special because even if you work for the same employer for a long time, you will never get bored. If you want a change, you don't have to start looking for a new employer right away - a new project with a new client is enough.
The ASA team is diverse. There are professionals in their field with a long track record, but there are also new bloods coming in all the time, and that always makes you happy! Even if we don’t see much of each other, unless we’re working together in the office, it still feels like we’re together all the time, because the communication is so strong and the people are great All the days/events/meetings spent together have a priceless value!
If you were to ask me what is the important destination or journey to the destination, I would answer – the company, my ASA team!
ASA is a good place to develop as a QA. While working there, I got to be involved in projects I probably wouldn't have gotten into otherwise. It is not a place for people looking for a comfort zone. It is a job that demands independence, good communication skills and smart problem-solving skills.
ASA offers trainings for its employees and a team with whom to solve problems and share ideas on software quality issues. Own initiatives are also encouraged.
One of the biggest advantages of working at ASA was the rapid professional development. Working on several different projects allowed me to get acquainted with different aspects of the IT sector in a short period of time. The experience ranged from small projects in small development companies to systems that are essential at national level. It was exciting to see different project management methods and how the best hybrid solutions were found for different projects.
ASA’s greatest asset is the people themselves, professionals who work together, but not necessarily with each other. Although everyone may be working on different projects, but when you get together it is like being in the same office every day. Weekly meetings and constant events kept the team together even when the person was working from the client’s office on a daily basis. As an employer, ASA is very flexible and any problem can be solved through agreements. Even when working from home, the employee is being looked after and provided with good conditions.
